Entry Period
The competition runs for one week.
Entries close at midnight on 24th October 2025.
Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.
Entry is free and open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Entrants may only enter once.
Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random as part of the prize draw.
The winner will be drawn and contacted on 24th October 2025 via @grandcentralrail direct message.
We will never ask for card details.
The winner must claim the prize by midnight on 28th October 2025 via return direct message.
If the winner does not respond after three contact attempts, a new winner will be drawn.
The draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize Details
The prize includes:
Two Grand Central Rail tickets to York, valid only for departures from: Sunderland, Hartlepool, Eaglescliffe, Northallerton, Thirsk, London King’s Cross
An overnight stay for two at the Hocus Pocus Hotel, York
A round of mini golf at the Hole in the Wand
A cocktail making experience for two at Potions Cauldron
Prize Redemption
The prize is redeemable from Grand Central Rail, Potions Cauldron, Hole in the Wand, and Hocus Pocus Hotel.
Must be redeemed before 24th April 2026, subject to availability.
Valid Sunday through Thursday, term time only.
Not redeemable during holidays.
The winner will have up to 6 months to redeem their prize.
Additional Terms
Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, and has no cash alternative.
Train tickets must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Tickets have no cash value.
Employees of Grand Central Rail, Hocus Pocus Hotel, Hole in the Wand, and Potions Cauldron, and their family members, are not eligible to win.
